
As a seasoned inside sales professional, Russ Swensen is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for every Tsurumi customer. When supporting customers, Swensen strives to make the process seamless and as easy as possible for them.
Q: What does your job position entail?
I'm Russ Swensen, I'm from Magna, Utah - a suburb of Salt Lake and not too far from the office here. I've been in sales for 15-20 years; I've made deliveries out to customers, and I've been to job sites and understand what their problems are and what they run up against. I feel I'm set to understand their problems and situations and able to give them the answers that they need to fix the problems that they have.
Q: What does a good customer experience mean to you?
If a customer calls and is looking for a pump that'll do a certain project or a certain amount of volume or fluid, then I will go over options with them and let them decide what they think, give my input as to what will work best for them. We come to a consensus of what pump will do the job and the most efficient and best product for them. I want to make their experience and their job as easy as possible. I feel Tsurumi has a good product, a good solid quality product. I'm proud that they're seeing what we're selling.
Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I like to go camping with my family and kids. I like to ride my motorcycle, take my four-wheeler out and run around the trails and just spend time with my family and my wife.
