This month marks a significant milestone for Tsurumi Pump, as the company commemorates the 40th anniversary of Ben Rieboldt, Director of Engineering and Information Systems. Since joining Tsurumi (America), Inc. as one of their first employees in 1985, Rieboldt has played a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of Tsurumi.
Rieboldt’s journey with Tsurumi began in sales and customer service, as well as supporting marketing and tradeshow initiatives. As the company grew, his role expanded, shifting towards sales management, operations, and ultimately engineering. His technical expertise has been a driving force behind key initiatives including application engineering, submittal reviews and quotes, technical data materials, and safety standards compliance certifications.
Throughout his career, Rieboldt witnessed Tsurumi’s transformation from a small operation with limited resources to an industry leader with a broad market presence in North America. His efforts helped drive the company to achieve key milestones, including the development of its engineering department, expansion into serving new markets, and the establishment of a robust distributor network across North America.
