Joe Ranieri has been working at Tsurumi Pump for over five years and leads sales and customer support in the Midwest region. Based in the Chicago area, he collaborates closely with engineers and technical staff to ensure top-notch solutions for every Tsurumi customer.
 

Q: What duties does your job position entail?

I have served as Tsurumi’s Midwest Regional Sales Manager since August 2017. My responsibilities include educating distributors, partners, and end customers about Tsurumi's extensive range of pumping solutions. I take pride in serving our mining, industrial, commercial, and municipal markets. I particularly appreciate collaborating with my colleagues and partners to identify the best solutions for our customers.


Q: What does a good customer experience mean to you?

As a representative of a manufacturer, I find it crucial to find enjoyment in engaging with people, excel in problem-solving, and thoroughly understand our products. These qualities are integral to my role. I enjoy collaborating with individuals and visiting sites to understand their operational conditions, whether dealing with pumping solids, abrasives, or corrosive substances. I then evaluate our product range to determine the most suitable solution for our customers. It is essential that the customer, whether an end-user or a distributor, has confidence in my expertise and trusts that I represent a high-quality product line. I strive to provide them with the best solution available from Tsurumi.
 

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

I have a strong passion for playing music, particularly the piano and the guitar. I also enjoy cooking, whether it's smoking meats, grilling steaks, or occasionally baking.
