Tsurumi America’s southeast regional manager, Kevin Boicken, is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years of expertise in sales and pump rentals. He is uniquely equipped to support Tsurumi’s customers. Read on to learn more about Boicken’s role at Tsurumi America.

Q: What duties does your job position entail?

As the southeast regional manager at Tsurumi America, I feel proud to have served here for five years. My role involves catering to all markets, including sewage, wastewater, steel mills, and so on. I have extensive experience in applications, crossovers, and problem-solving, and I’m confident in handling any challenges that come my way. Whether you are pumping mill scale or wastewater debris, I’ve done it before! I can effectively lead and guide our distributors with my expertise in the field.

Q: What does a good customer experience mean to you?

As part of my job, I am responsible for teaching and training our distributors, regardless of their experience level — whether they've just joined or have been with us for two decades. Most of our distributors don’t seem to have extensive field experience with submersibles, which is where I come in to assist them and answer any questions they may have.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

I enjoy being outside — working in the yard, cutting the grass and enjoying the sunshine in sunny Florida. It’s been a great experience in the Sunshine State since moving from Illinois. I couldn’t stand the cold weather anymore!
